Fons Lute (51) has joined PGGM Investments as Managing Director Alternatives Strategies with effect from 1 September. Lute completes the group of four Managing Directors (MDs) reporting to CIO Johan van der Ende. Until recently, Fons Lute was CIO of the Blue Sky Group. He is also a member of the Executive Board of Eumedion.

Johan van der Ende, CIO PGGM Investments: “The arrival of Fons Lute strengthens and completes the Investments management team. He has extensive experience of financial markets. The management team leads compact focus teams and will further consolidate our positioning as an innovative, sustainable, long-term asset manager.”

Following the appointment of Johan van der Ende as CIO, PGGM appointed Jaap van Dam as MD Portfolio Construction and Bob Rädecker as MD Beta Portfolios from its own ranks. Jacques Kragt is fulfilling the role of MD Fundamental Strategies on an interim basis.
