Organisational model in line with core activities Founded at the beginning of 2008, the PGGM cooperation is now entering a new phase.

The organisational structure has been brought into line with the core activities of the company, and an Executive Committee of six members will now carry out the day-to-day management.

Martin van Rijn, PGGM CEO, says:’We intend to continue and expand our responsible pension and asset management on behalf of pension funds by responding even more effectively to market developments and the needs of our clients. Besides this, we are focusing on strengthening the cooperation further, as well as intensifying the bond with the care and welfare sector, through tailored financial service provision. The new organisational structure will enable us to be an even stronger and more reliable partner for pension funds, their participants and the members of PGGM.’

From 1 January 2010 the operational management of PGGM will consist of an Executive Committee (EC) with the following members: 
- Martin van Rijn, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 
- Else Bos, Chief Institutional Business (CIB) and deputy CEO 
- Paul Loven, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) 
- Johan van der Ende, Chief Investments Officer (CIO) 
- Harry Vossebeld, Chief Operating Officer (COO) 
- Bart Blanken, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), joining on 1 March 2010.

Within the EC, all the core functions are directly represented at the highest level. Martin van Rijn is responsible for PGGM as a whole. Else Bos will focus on the service provision to pension funds and other institutional clients, in the area of pension and portfolio management. She will also act as deputy CEO. CFO Paul Loven joined us on 1 November. Johan van der Ende and Harry Vossebeld already held management positions in the areas of investments and pension administration activities respectively. Bart Blanken will take up his appointment as CMO on 1 March 2010 and will be responsible for the retail activities. Bart Blanken is currently director of the IZZ Foundation.
