Gabriëlle Krapels appointed Chief Policy Officer at PGGM Investment Management

Gabriëlle Krapels has been appointed in the statutory Board of Directors of PGGM Vermogensbeheer BV as Chief Policy Officer on 1 July 2025.

She is leaving APG Asset Management where, until recently, she was Managing Director Responsible Investments Fiduciary Management.

In her new role at PGGM, Krapels (41) will be responsible for strategic policy advice and investment strategy on behalf of Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW). She will report to Geraldine Leegwater who is Chief Executive Officer of PGGM Investment Management.

Gabriëlle's arrival completes the management team of the new PGGM Asset Management organisation. In this new organisation, which will become operational from 1 June 2025, PGGM Asset Management will focus on advising, implementing and executing the PFZW Investment Policy 2030.

Krapels has worked for APG Asset Management in various roles for about seven years. Before that, she was, among other things, manager at the Nederlandse Investerings Instelling (NLII) and Sr Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
