Else Bos acting CEO PGGM

Else Bos (52) has been appointed acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by the Supervisory Board of the pension fund service provider PGGM. Bos has been with PGGM since 2002, in the capacity of deputy CEO since 2010. With the appointment of Martin van Rijn to the new cabinet she will be assuming Van Rijn’s responsibilities as from today. The exact interpretation of the position of CEO is the subject of further discussions.

Press release

Else Bos joined PGGM in 2002 as Chief Operations Officer Investments and became a member of the executive committee in 2005 as CEO Investments. In 2010 she was appointed Chief Institutional Business and deputy CEO of PGGM.
According to Herman de Boon, chairman of the PGGM’s Supervisory Board, Else Bos’s appointment as CEO guarantees continuity: “The departure of Martin van Rijn is a loss to us obviously. We are convinced though that he will be an asset in his new position. Else Bos has extensive experience in the financial world and in the pensions sector, and she knows the organisation well. She will continue on the set course, and will take care of PGGM’s interests in a professional manner”.

Besides Else Bos, the executive committee of PGGM consists of Paul Loven (CFO), Bart Blanken (CMO), Eloy Lindeijer (CIM) en Harry Vossebeld (COO).
