Senior Partnership Manager – Business Management
Your role
Together with the Manager Business Management, the Associate Partnership Manager, and the Secretary, you act as the central link in the strategic partnership between PFZW and PGGM.
In this strategic role, you operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and governance, with direct contact with the PFZW Executive Office, the Investment Committee, and the Investment Management Board. You stay well-informed about developments within the Investment Management domain and ensure that PFZW’s needs and priorities are clearly communicated within PGGM.
Within the triangle of Business, Finance & Control, and Account Management, you manage the contract between PFZW and PGGM. You safeguard agreements and help resolve bottlenecks by facilitating effective dialogue between PGGM and PFZW.
Additionally, you coordinate the preparation and follow-up of Investment Committee (Commissie Beleggingen) meetings. You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the strategic relationship with PFZW by facilitating strategic dialogues, organising and following up on periodic 360-degree reviews and informal touchpoints, and coordinating input and action tracking in collaboration with senior colleagues.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of joint deliverables such as the OGSM, PFZW product calendar (PPK), and Bestuurlijke Roadmap by coordinating input and supporting document management and planning.
- Execute contract and SLA management in collaboration with the PGGM-wide account team, by maintaining documentation, liaising with Legal and Procurement, and supporting the monitoring and updating of contractual agreements between PFZW and PGGM.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of Investment Committee meetings, based on the CB calendar and product approval process.
- Organise and manage the consultation structure with PFZW, including preparing agendas, gathering input from stakeholders, and tracking action items.
- Coordinate and process inquiries and input from PFZW and PGGM, directing them to the appropriate teams or individuals, and monitoring progress toward resolution.
- Coordinate the accountability reporting process by preparing meetings, gathering and validating content, and supporting reporting on both investment and business management topics.
Your department
Business Management is a newly established department within PGGM Investments, bringing together key cross-functional roles that support our investment management value chain in driving strategic change.
As Senior Partnership Manager, you report to the Head of Business Management. The team consists of three areas of expertise:
- Partnership Management and Evaluation – Responsible for strategic collaboration with PFZW, shaping governance agreements, and evaluating PGGM IM’s products and services.
- Management Consultants and Corporate Secretariat – Provide strategic support to the IM Board, prepare decision-making, and translate strategy into implementation and advice.
- Executive Assistants – Serve as the organisational hub for PGGM IM’s management, focusing on planning, support, and connection both within and outside the management team.
By integrating these functions, the Business Management team plays a central role in connecting strategy, execution, and governance—advancing PGGM Investment Management’s ambitions in close collaboration with PFZW.
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate who understands the dynamics of the investment management industry and is motivated to contribute to the strategic partnership with PFZW at the heart of PGGM Investment Management.
You are proactive, with a proven ability in high-level stakeholder management, building trust, and managing relationships both internally and externally. You confidently navigate boardroom dynamics. You think strategically, understand the bigger picture, and align activities with organisational and partnership goals. You have strong governance awareness and enjoy navigating decision-making structures and formal processes.
With excellent organisational skills, you can structure complex processes, maintain oversight while managing multiple priorities, and ensure timely follow-up across a broad range of activities.
You have a process-improvement mindset, identifying bottlenecks early and helping to drive effective solutions to support the partnership with PFZW across topics ranging from governance and reporting to contract management and relationship coordination.
You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English, spoken and written, and approach your work with initiative, ownership, and professionalism.
