Jouw rol

The PGGM Infrastructure team is looking for enthusiastic interns who want to work for a period of 4 months in an international investment team.


As an intern:

  • You have the opportunity to work on all aspects of the investment process, such as generating leads through sector studies, due diligence and valuation work during acquisition processes, or value creation projects at our portfolio companies.
  • You gain experience in analyzing investment opportunities, financial modelling and presenting your findings to the PGGM Infrastructure team.
  • You work in the investment team and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in transactions, portfolio companies and/or sector/market research.

Jouw afdeling binnen PGGM

PGGM Infrastructure is a leading institutional direct investor with an open-end fund and a strong focus on impact investing and investments in the energy transition. We invest in companies that are essential for society, create long-term value and have a positive impact. The Infrastructure team is a young, international and diverse group of approximately 40 investment professionals who manage around 30 portfolio companies.


The team manages a global infrastructure private equity portfolio of approximately €15 billion, investing across four core sectors:

  • Energy & Utilities (e.g. renewable energy, district heating, biofuels and water treatment)
  • Digital (e.g. fibre optic networks, transmission towers and data centres)
  • Transport (e.g. toll roads, ports and aircraft/train leasing companies)
  • Social & PPP (e.g. student housing, hospitals and schools)

Jouw achtergrond

  • Numerically strong, with preferably an academic background in economics, business, finance or STEM;
  • Broadly developed beyond your studies, for example through internships, work experience, extracurricular activities, sports, student organisations or volunteer work.;
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial and ambitious attitude, with a clear can-do mentality and the ability to work through complex and ambiguous situations
  • Internationally oriented and able to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Studying or recently graduated at a Dutch university with excellent communication and writing skills in English (Dutch language is not a requirement).

• Internship allowance of €1016,- per month, full reimbursement of travel expenses, and reimbursement of costs associated with working from home (c. €70 per month); and

• An opportunity for a full-time offer to join our team as an Analyst in case of excellent performance.


Process

The application deadline is Wednesday, 11 February at noon. Selected candidates will be invited for interviews in the week thereafter. The intended start date is Wednesday, 1 April.
