Together, we work on implementing pensions for 4.3 million Dutch citizens, many of whom work in the healthcare and welfare sectors. We are thus partly responsible for the trust within one of the largest and most vital sectors for the well-being of the Netherlands. You will deal with this and also have an influence on it. In our Pension Management IT department, more than 25 teams work closely to develop systems and applications that support our colleagues in Pension Management. We embrace the DevOps culture and believe in the principle "You build it, you run it."

Will you become part of our IT4IT team? Here, everything revolves around maintaining and expanding the development platform used by our DevOps teams. This includes build and test agents, monitoring, self-service, and other essential tools for the DevOps lifecycle, such as Azure DevOps, Azure, Elastic, Windows Server, XL Deploy, ProGet, SonarQube, and Chocolatey.

Our challenge? Transform our development platform with new tools, technologies, and automation to streamline, accelerate, and ensure top-quality production processes for other teams. In our pursuit of improvement, we constantly seek the right balance between stability and innovation. We are currently excited about our strategy to move the platform to Azure, while also keeping a sharp eye on our existing on-premises landscape.

Jouw achtergrond

We are looking for an IT professional with a passion for automation and a heart for teamwork. You feel involved in the service you provide to our teams and enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise. As a member of our team, you play a crucial role in the continuous development and innovation of our DevOps platform. This involves both research and practical implementation. Additionally, analyzing and resolving incidents and requests, as well as coordinating their handling, are part of your daily tasks.

You have the ability to advise and challenge teams to maximize the potential of our platform. Moreover, you are a dedicated mentor and coach for junior and mid-level colleagues in our IT4IT team. You closely monitor progress during the sprint and support the team in achieving their goals. You stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the DevOps world and strive to integrate new technologies and optimize processes.

 

  • HBO/WO thinking level (preferably completed an IT-related field of study);
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
  • Solid knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps pipeline-as-code and Powershell;
  • You automate everything, nothing is done by hand;
  • Strong communication skills, coaching abilities, and customer-oriented mindset;
  • Deployment & package management tooling.

  • A gross monthly salary between € 4290 and € 6128 based on 36 hours, depending on your knowledge and experience;
  • A gross monthly salary in scale 10 of the CAO;
  • A 36-hour workweek with flexible working hours;
  • A good pension plan as a participant of the PFZW pension fund (71% paid by PGGM, 29% by the employee);
  • An annual Fit for the Future budget of €300, which you can use to improve your mental, physical, or financial fitness;
  • A generous training budget for internal and external training or education;
  • A guaranteed thirteenth month;
  • Over 27 vacation days (Employees can choose to exchange up to two national Christian holidays for a day of personal significance);
  • Flexible working hours and remote working options;
  • A net internet allowance of € 37.50 per month (€ 450 per year);
  • A collective discount on supplementary insurance (21% in 2024) and dental insurance (15% in 2024);
  • A home working arrangement with a reimbursement of up to EUR 900 including VAT to make your home workspace ergonomic.
